Gramperijada – potato day celebration – NEX CONCERT

There is no place in the world that celebrates and glorifies the potato quite like Kaštelir! This small Istrian town is immensely proud of its famous Gramperijada—a potato festival you can enjoy every summer, organized by the Municipality of Kaštelir-Labinci and the Kaštelir-Labinci Tourist Board.

Only in the Kaštelir-Labinci area is the potato called gramper, which inspires the intriguing name of this event, where you can always taste imaginative dishes with the potato as the star of the show. The festival will be packed with a rich entertainment program—incredibly fun competitions for both children and adults, sports events, plenty of great music that will get everyone singing and dancing, and a diverse offer where local family farms (OPGs) will bring a bounty of premium, homemade delicacies to the table.

Keep in mind that Kaštelir and Labinci are well-known for the exceptional quality of locally grown potatoes, so make sure you don’t miss the fantastic Gramperijada.
